Natividad Foundation brings people together to strengthen Natividad and create a healthier community. Together with our partners, we help Natividad provide high-quality health care and trauma services for everyone in Monterey County, regardless of the ability to pay.
Donors help Natividad Foundation create a healthier community by supporting innovative programs and high-quality care at Natividad. Natividad provides services not available anywhere else in the area. Natividad’s Trauma Center provides life-saving services to 1,500 critically injured patients yearly, the National Children’s Alliance-accredited Child Advocacy Center provides services for victims of child abuse and neglect, and the California Children's Services-certified Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) gives more than 250 of the tiniest and most fragile babies the best start in life. Through its UCSF-affiliated Family Medicine Residency Program, Natividad is distinguished as the only teaching hospital on the Central Coast.
Advanced medical equipment purchased by the Foundation and support for Natividad’s programs helps preserve these life-saving services available to all.
Together with Natividad Foundation, donors can continue to transform lives and create a healthier Monterey County.
The Foundation has been a saving grace for the community. The resources in the community are limited and with the Foundation’s assistance we are able to provide a ‘breather’. For many families this can be assistance with life-saving medications, a short motel stay when shelters are not available, or gift cards to cover the cost of the most basic human needs. Often, I hear ‘we are not going to change someone’s life or living situation with one hospitalization’. As a social worker, I believe that we make an impact every day we show up to work. I believe that our work along with your donations makes an incredible difference for the patients, families, and communities who receive support. We, here at Natividad, strive to make a long-lasting impact.
