We envision a thriving community where every person has the opportunity to unleash their full potential. Our family of ten programs delivers essential services, provides equitable access to resources, and advocates for health and dignity across every stage of life. Every year, we meet the needs of thousands of local children, families and seniors with broad support from individuals, businesses, foundations and government. We believe that when we work together, anything is possible.
This program seeks to provide far-reaching support to eligible victims and their families, including helping to complete FEMA applications and appeals, and providing financial assistance to those with high deductibles or without insurance. This would help to rebuild damaged and destroyed homes. It also aims to increase participants' disposable income with ITIN/EITC/CTC applications and access essential material goods. It will connect victims to local storm recovery resources, healthcare services, translation services, job applications, and ultimately benefit the community at large. It aims to eradicate storm victims’ precarious future, as it seeks to eliminate the uncertainty and financial instability that storm victims face in the ensuing days after disasters. This project will stimulate the local economy by increasing consumer spending and creating jobs in construction, engineering, and other industries, connecting residents to local businesses, and boosting investments in infrastructure to make Pajaro Valley more resilient to future storms and other disasters.
There was no time to get anything out (during the Pajaro Valley flood). We lost all our things. And we’re all affected. We’re all in the same boat. We’re all grasping for some hope. I would like to thank Community Bridges for opening up their doors and for being such a great help to our community.
