The Friends of the Salinas Public Library (FOSPL) is a community based membership organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Salinas Public Libraries through programs, advocacy and financial support.
The Salinas Public Library is getting Kindergarteners ready for school by distributing school readiness backpacks and offering programs ahead of the upcoming school year. The Kinder readiness backpacks will contain essential supplies and materials, and backpack recipients will be invited to attend Kinder Boot Camp, a week-long program in the summer to learn school routines and increase social skills. This program will also provide free, quality books to help build personal libraries.
We have our daily reading time and my kids love it especially Gabriel, age 1 year now. We loved being in the BABY Program- Books At Birth Year..
