Delivering Meals, Nurturing Hearts and Nourishing Homebound Seniors.

We Serve More than a Meal. We believe no senior should go hungry so we deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors, 60 and older who can no longer shop or cook for themselves. We've expanded our services to seniors to provide More than a Meal to our senior community members.

The Big Idea

We believe that no senior should go hungry, so we deliver nutritious meals to isolated seniors throughout the Salinas Valley. In addition to our Home-Delivered Meal Program...

We provide MORE than a meal by:
-Working with Food Bank to provide fresh, local fruits and vegetables to our clients weekly
-Adding the joy of live music to our clients by providing a "sidewalk" serenade (in collaboration with Arts Council) to them with their meal delivery
-Providing pet food for the furry-friends of our clients in collaboration with SPCA
-Continuing and expanding our award-winning monthly social events (SOCOS/NOCOS/SASSO) in Castroville, King City, Greenfield, Gonzales, Salinas and Soledad every month. We provide seniors in these rural communities with senior resources, a culturally appropriate fresh lunch, live music, fruits and veggies and socialization. We're now serving a total of 500 seniors at these socials.
-Serve 2 congregate meal sites in King City and Greenfield.

It was wonderful to see our seniors full of joy, excitement, and appreciation. They dressed up and came out to party!
