MORCA is the voice for responsible mountain biking in Monterey County. Since 2006, MORCA has been committed to conserving the lands on which we ride and to building, sharing, and enhancing inclusive mountain biking opportunities for our diverse community. MORCA engages a broad audience by supporting cycling-based outdoor recreation opportunities, advocating for trail access, maintaining trails, and fostering goodwill.
Monterey Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) has teamed up with Monterey County Parks to install trails numbers and signs in the popular “Happy Trails” area of Fort Ord. These trails are heavily used by bikers, hikers, and equestrians but do not currently have signage or assigned numbers.
Monterey Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) has been a key partner of ours for trail planning, maintenance and development at Fort Ord National Monument for many years. The BLM is thrilled with their trail stewardship and leadership benefiting cyclists, hikers, joggers and equestrians on the Monument, and we look forward to continued collaboration with them in nurturing a sustainable legacy.
