MORCA is an organized voice for responsible mountain biking in Monterey County. We accomplish this by advocating for mountain bike trail access, maintaining area trails, and sharing good will with other trail users. We are involved in mountain biking advocacy at all levels of the community.
Monterey Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) has teamed up with Monterey County Parks to have portable restrooms installed at the popular 8th and Gigling trailhead. Long-term plans include the permanent installation of pit toilets, similar to those found at Creekside and Badger Hills Trailheads located within the Fort Ord National Monument. MORCA is anxiously awaiting a special use permit and is seeking funds to make this initiative become a reality.
Monterey Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) played a key role in making this year’s Pump Track Grand Opening a big success. They secured local business support, recruited volunteers, engaged the community and spread enthusiasm to attract a record number of attendees. MORCA has a proven history of fostering strong relationships throughout Monterey County and we look forward to continued collaboration with them.
